Whiff of Joy Challenge 7 - in the Rain

Whiff of Joy week 7 is a sketch challenge by Heather. It is a great sketch.
This weekend I am going out to dinner with 2 of my girlfriends. We all have birthdays in November so are celebrating by leaving the Dads in charge!
This card is for one of the girls...haven't decided which one yet! they don't read my blog so I am safe enough to show it. I love the sentiment that goes with this image and she is so great to colour.
I have coloured her with prismacolour pencils and blended with Sansador. The rain is liquid pearls. The papers are 'Sonoma' from Scenic Route. The Kraft paper is embossed with flourishes. I've added brads to match and a little flower to decorate.
I've found a great way to take pictures in these dark nights. This is taken in the kitchen under the strip light under the wall units. It gives enough light so Idon't have to use my flash. But please excuse a glimpse of my kitchen tiles...need to get some of those lovely grunge edge effects I have seen on other peeoples blogs.
Thanks for taking the time to look,
Judy x

Hi Judy, I love your card, I'm still at the learning phase of cardmaking but love how I get so much inspriation from other people's blog's. I love how you've matched all the papers (I always have difficulty matching things up)and your colouring is gorgeous. I'm going to invest in some Sansador and paper stumps as everyone seems to get such fantastic results from it. Thank you for all the kind comments left on my blog.x

Hi Judy
I have just had a quick look over your blog - your cards are stunning. I received today the topper from the Sugar Nellie swap -which I fell in love with and the colouring is amazing. I was curious to find out which media you used for colouring (hence it prompted me to look at your blog)- so now I'm looking at Promarkers - I'm going to give them a try. Oh and I'm going to google Sansador too
