Colouring with Prismacolour pencils
I have matted the Magnolia image on some cardstock from the DCWV Spring Glitter stack and she is attached with matching purple brads.
The foam letters are from a kit I received from Scrummy Stash cafe . Have a look here: www.scrummystashcafe.co.uk. They do great scrapbooking kits, which I use for cardmaking. You get loads of designer paper and matching cardstock along with lots of little extras like buttons and ribbons in each kit.
Today in the North-East feels chilly. Autumn is definetely here. On the way home from school drop off , my youngest son, Peter, and I were collecting all the red leaves on the ground! Fun!
Time to do the chores. Have a great day.

Yeahhhh ! Round 2!
Well, today is a very exciting day. I am through to Round 2 of Silly Monkey Crafts DT call. This is my entry:The card is brown bazzill cardstock and I used the Basic Grey Figgy Pudding paper as a background. I just love the Whiff of Joy stamp with Charlie and his snowman. I coloured it with promarkers and added some diamond stickles for glitter and white ink pen for highlights.
The felt snowflakes are from Hero Arts.
For the flourish and sentiment tag I painted bare chipboard with acrylic paint and then clear heat embossed and aded some glitter for sparkle. I doodled some faux stiches round the edges.
For the next round you have to pick 3 pieces of your favourite work to submit. So, I'll get onto that right away. The standard of the enries into Round 2 is very high so it's going to be a tough competition.
I am sitting her typing with my hot Beechams. I am stuffed full of the cold but the washing and ironing is threatening to overtake the house. There is also no food to eat. So, lots to do today. Better get back to it!!!!
Hope you have a productive day!!

Dinosaurs
This card took less than half an hour. All the DP is from Basic Grey "Archaic" set and then I stamped the image onto cream cardstcock and chalked it round the edges with yellowish chalk. I added the photo corners. They came with the set. The "Happy Birthday" stamp is from Hero Arts and the stickers are from Doodlebug.
So, today is a bright Autumn day, so I will get all my washing dried on the line and then tonight I'm off to a Candle Party. I might be organised and buy one or two Christmas presents. Helps the budget to spread it all out.
Have a great day whatever you are doing

Edwin's Snowman
I am preparing for my very first craft fair at the end of October so I am busy, busy, busy making Christmas cards. I don't know how to price the cards and whether handmade cards will sell, but hey, I am willing to try things once!!
Any advice welcome....
This is card I made with Edwin's Snowman stamp. I coloured it with promarkers and added diamond stickles for sparkle. It is matted on Bazzil bling cardstcock and the DP is from Anita's 6 x 6 Christmas papers. The sentiment is from a woodware clear stamp and the snowflake I bought from Handy Hippo sometime. I doodled stiching around the edges.
If anyone has any tips for how to improve this blog or how to get it loking lovely please please tell me how.
Have a lovely evening,

struggling!
OK...I've faffed about with this on and off all afternoon. I can't seem to find how you add a hits counter onto your blog and I think it will take me days and weeks to find out how to customise it.
So what I'll do is add another card ..that I feel I CAN do!!!
This card I've called "Birthday Blossoms".
The base is a piece of Bazzil cardstock. The flourish is a quickutz die and the flowers are prima flowers. The stamped flower is a Hero Arts stamp cut out and embellished with a tiny flower in the centre. I've doodled around the edges to give the card a frame. Really simple!!
I really like the turquoise and burgundy colours together.
Right off to faff qround with the blog a bit more!
Newbie!
Well, I am a follower of many talented and inspirational crafters. I read their blogs daily and am inspired to try out new card making techniques.
So, I thought I would venture into the world of blogging myself. I think I will start out slowly by posting some cards that I have already made and as I get to grips with blogging I shall start doing challenges and sketches.
So, in true Blue Peter style, here's one I made earlier:
Sorry, I think the photo is slightly out of focus. I will try to fix this!
I have used a square piece of card and the base cardstock is from Bazzil.
The Christmas tree stamp is from The Unity Stamp Company. I stamped it in black Stazon ink and then added various sizes of red buttons and highlighted with white sakura ink.
The sentiment is a quickutz diecut and the ribbon is brown with white polka dots bought from ebay!
As I get familiar with blogger I will add my favourite crafting bloggers and where I like to shop. have patience with me!
I have to get back to a big ironing pile and childcare duties!
Have a great day and hope you find some time to craft.
Judy xx
