Sugar Bowl - Sketch by Lia

Wooooo ..a card at last! I have had a mega sore throat the past day or two and it has zapped me of all my energy. I still feel a bit wiped but hopefully the mojo will be in full swing next week!!
Todays card is made for the Sugar Bowl, using a fabulous sketch by Lia and the extra option she chose was blue and green.
I chose to colour one of my Gorjuss girls from set 2 and continue to practice with my new copics. I decided to go for a strawberry blonde look ( or maybe she is just ginger!), as I always tend to plump for mousy brown when it comes to hair colour. The image is not perfect but I was trying out different techniques. I might go back to my pencils for a while! LOL!!
The card is made using a mixture of scrap pieces of paper from a past Scrapagogo kit. The big paper flower is one I bought from an Etsy shop a while ago. Fab isn't it? I was delighted it matched in so well with this challenge. The doily is a gift from Deb, which I have gently sponged with an SU Old Olive inkpad. Thanks Deb!
Thanks for popping by and don't forget to go have a look at the amazing creations from the rest of the 'Sweeties' and join in yourself. This time the prize is a set of the brand new Diane Duda stamps. How fantastic!
Before I leave, just a fun photo...we got a new sofa this week and had to quickly shove the old one somewhere before it got taken away. So it has been out in the garden all this week. We are all getting used to having somewhere really comfy to sit in the garden in the beautiful sunshine...don't know if I want it to be taken away now! Mind you it would get a bit soggy in the first shower of rain ..bleugh! We've had fun while it was there!
Have a great day :)

Judy this is fab! What paper are you using with your Copics? If you're finding blending a bit tricksy, it might be worth trying some other cardstock/paper for stamping on. I think you've done a great job though for what it's worth! My early efforts were nowhere near as good. :)

Hope you're feeling better soon. Sore throats are horrid.

Am definitely going to join in with the Sugar Bowl this week - want those Diane Duda stamps! :)

Had to laugh when I saw your gang on the couch-all they need is an outdoor t.v and they'd be sorted lol!
