Magnolia Christmas

Yeah...Good Morning! A card as promised! This card is for a very loyal customer who requested a Magnolia Christmas card in red. I hope it fits the brief :)
The image is coloured entirely with copics (full list at the bottom of the post) and then I used some leftovers from last years Christmas papers from Magnolia. I then stitched the layers of paper together with my very trusty Janome mini ...served me faithfully for 2 years now! Best christmas present ever!

I then added some poinsettia's from Prima with a black brad in the centre, a die-cut flourish and a little piece of ribbon found in my Christmas box!
Well I going to admit  here on the blogosphere that I have not made on single Christmas card for me to send this year! All the  Christmas cards I have made are for others to send! So relly's and friends ..you have been warned...no handmade this year!  Sorry! You just can't do it all! But I did buy some gorgeous cards from Kathy Hare's Etsy shop. They are just beautiful. I am so happy with them. Next best thing to handmade!

Copics used:
Skin: E000, E00, E11, E13, R20
Dress: R22, R27, R29, R89
Presents, Hair, Socks: E30, E41, E43, E44, E49

Thanks so much for your visit. have a great day!

Delightful with the red & kraft colours accented by the green leaves & black. Love how your shading on Tilda's dress makes it look as if the poinsettia's are casting a shadow on her. The black flourishes & black lacy border give this such a lovely sense of luxury & sophistication too. I think it fits the brief perfectly.

Lovely card and it's reassuring to know you haven't made cards this year either. Have a good one when it comes.
