Good morning! How was your weekend? Mine was spent with my in-laws and a lovely lunch with my church family on Sunday. I feel very blessed and grateful today.
I have a quick card to share that was a commission for a friend. I haven't used my Sarah Kay's in such a long time and I have forgotten how much I love them.
This one is coloured with prismacolor pencils and I have used copics for the skin. I also used my pencils to create the shaded sky background and the grass on the ground.
Most of the embellishments and papers I have used are all to be found in the Quixotic Paperie and most of them are New Arrivals!! First up I have used the some of the gorgeous new Crate Paper from the 'Brook' collection. The flowers are from the prima e-line...I just loved all the browns so I ordered a few of those packs ;)
The pins and spacers are also from Quixotic Paperie...your one stop shop for papers, stamps, flowers and embellies! Just check out the 'New Products' for most of the products I have used on my card.
Now you just have today left until midnight GMT to leave your comments for the dotcomgiftshop giveaway. There are 5 awesome gift packs available to win...just leave me a comment withyour best Mother's day gift...given or received to be in with a chance if winning.
I will pick five winners tomorrow!

Afternoon folks! I just wanted to stop by and show you one of the new digi images available at Sugar Nellie from the awesome artist that is Diane Duda! She has created some great new images specially for boys. I have a few ideas on how to use them....now i just need a little time...
This one I have used is called Puppy Dogs Tails. I coloured this one with prisma pencils and I have inked the edges with one of the new Distress Ink colours called 'Tumbled Glass'. The photo has washed the colour out slightly but it is a great blue IRL. The papers I have used are from Cosmo Cricket and are called 'Cogsmo'. I raked around for buttons to match and then used my tape writer to add 'frogs' , 'snails' and the rhyme carries on through to the inside.....
I hope you are all having a great weekend. Thank you for all your lovely comments you leave.
Don't forget you still have a few days left to enter my give-away fom the dotcomgiftshop. All you have to do is tell me of a great Mother's Day Gift you have given or received to be in with a chance of winning all of the prizes shown in the photos! Open until the 8th March!

Thank you all ever so much for all the parcels I have received. I am really sorry if I have not thanked you individually. Time has got away from me. I want you to know each and every parcel has been gratefully received ...both for the time it took you to put it together and the postage you paid to get it to me.
I now have 2 suitcases packed and ready to go. I received 2 parcels this morning and managed to squeeze even those in! They are now ready to make their way by taxi, plane, bus, boat and then finally tricycle to their destination on the island of Mindoro on the Philippines!
I know they look a little messy inside...ha ha..just been putting stuff in them when they arrive. One of my jobs over the weekend is to put it all in some sort of order :)
So as a little thank you I have put together a small parcel of goodies to send to one random person who sent me a parcel.
In the pack of goodies I have 5 Mary Hall stamps from Sugar Nellie, Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink, a 6x 6 pad of the *new* Cosmo Cricket Garden Variety and some flowers!
So I received in total 45 parcels!
And the winner is:

Thanks again to everyone who has taken the time to contribute!Judy xx

Good afternoon one and all...flying past today by the seat of my pants! I have so much to do and I am flapping about not knowing where to start.
A week tomorrow we fly off to the Philippines to see my sis, but between that I have cleaning, packing and visitors coming to stay...plus a few DT cards to make here and there!
Anyway, welcome to another Wednesday Quixotic Challenge. This week it is Kim's turn to pick the theme and she has chosen 'Leaf it out!' . This week she has asked us to incorporate leaves into your card or project.
ooooooo I had fun with this one. First of all I found some lovely olive green cardstock with some embossed leaves in it. Just perfect for this challenge. I hope the photo picks it up.
I chose the lovely image from Belles and Whistles called Smile, which of course has some little leaves in bud. She as usual is coloured with prismacolor pencils and copics for the skin.
I knew right away I wanted to add more leaves to left of the image so it wouldn't look like she was juts hanging in mid air! So I used paper roses, a Martha Stweart leaf punch , some leaf pins and a spray of pearls to create the little arrangement.
Thanks for popping by today. Don't forget to enter my Mother's Day Give Away. I have 5 fabulous sets of gifts to give away and all you have to do is tell me a memorable Mother's day Gift you have sent or received and you might receive these goodies courtesy of the dotcomgiftshop.
I'll be back tomorrow with a winner for my candy give -away, to thank you all for being soooooooo generous with your crafty parcels for the ladies of Yunik Crafts. I am just off to go put together a package for someone :)
