Button Box and some news :)

Morning folks! I hope you are all well.

I wanted to share with you today a piece of work that I was asked to do for a lovely lady called Cathy. Cathy works for the Wooden Box Mill and approached me and asked me if I would be interested in doing some work for them. Next to making cards, I also am loving altered wooden boxes. Cathy sent me 8 different boxes to alter. I am happy to now say that they feature on the homepage of the website!!

This is a fab online shop that I would highly recommend for GREAT customer service and superb quality of wooden boxes. They have so many different styles to choose from!  You can buy batches for wholesale or you can bu them in individual sets.

Today I just have this mini round cube box to show you. This box comes  as part of a set of 3 and this is the smallest of the boxes. I will share with you some more of the boxes in the coming days.

I decorated this box really simply. I painted it with light blue acrylic paint inside and out . I then used some Bo Bunny spotty paper and covered the top and the sides of the box with it. I distressed the edges of the paper with  white crackle paint. I finally added a little heart shape of buttons with Papermania Mini Polka Dot buttons which are from Sew Sweet.
