Mr and Mrs!

I was asked recently if I could make a wedding card for a friend (hello Michael!). I was delighted to do so and rumaged around in my box (es!) of stamps to find a suitable one. As this card was from a bloke to his brother to man....I din't want the image to be too girly or cute...but then again the card was for a wedding so had to be pretty but not too masculine.

So out came a very old ...but eminently suitable wood mounted 'Stampendous' stamp. This must have been one of the very first stamps I bought. Now I have a cupboard full :)

Having never attempted yet a WOW (white on white card) I knew that this was the perfect time! The image is coloured with prisma pencils and some stickles for her veil. The edging of the image is also done in stickles. I stamped the sentiment and the image in Memento Brown ink to give it a softer look. I have used a gorgeous doily and some embossed cardstock to make the base of the card. I have made some more of the rolled flowers.....coz I just love them! I then tied a bow with some organza ribbon, added a little ribbon slider and some lovely paper rose buds.

This card will be popping into my Etsy shop today!

Thanks for your always it is greatly appreciated!

Hanglar and Stanglar Anniversary Card

Morning folks!

This morning I just wanted to share a card I made for a customer. She was looking for an anniversary card for her husband and spotted one I had made in my early card making I tried to recreate it as best I could!

I stamped, coloured and cut out 2 Hanglars that I have had in my collection for yonks. The papers are a combination GCD 'Ella Blue' collection and some plain white Doodlebug embossed cardstock. The photos just don't capture the embossed element. I don't know what is happening with my photos these days!

I am always worried creating commisions for people as you really hope they like it...but I know this lovely lady is really happy with it! Phew!

Anyway my photos are still pretty blurred so I am beginning to think the problem is me and not blogger...though I am doing nothing different from normal. I just can't get a good crisp clear shot! Maybe I need to read my camera manual!
Anyway thanks for your visit. I hope you all have a great day,

Mr & Mrs

Morning!! I have a card to share with you today that I made for my Mum. They are going to a wedding of some friends very soon and she requested a card from me! So I didn't really have any wedding images to use,  so I bought this gorgeous stamp from Lily of the Valley. The image is coloured with prismas. I covered the bride's dress with stickles and this is the part that I am not happy with. They were clear when wet but now have a pinky sparkle when I am a bit disappointed :((

Anyway I am sure my Mum won't notice the pinky tinge or if she does she will think it is intentional! And she will say it is lovely cause that what Mum's do :) And now a wee close up of the flowers:

Thanks for your visit...I am off to do some housework today and get some food in the house....the cupboards are bare!

Back soon,

Morning my lovely readers!

My card today is a request from my MIL for her next door neighbour!! She has told her I do cards, so came a request for a wedding card.

This is a variation on card I made several months back, so if you think you have seen it sort of have :) But I have changed bits and added extra bits in!

I have followed the sketch from this weeks Mojo Monday, so will be entering it in there.

An oldie

My apolgies for putting up cards that I have done a few months ago. I am busy this week completing some other projects that I hope to show you soon!

This is a simple wedding card or could be turned easily into an anniversary card. The stamps are from Stampendous, which I have coloured with watercolour pencils. The image is matted onto silver cardstock. The background is a sentiment stamp stamped over and over again in silver ink. The wording goes like this " May your life together be full of love and your love full of life." This stamp is from Penny Black. 3 half pearls are added for a little decorative touch. I have doodled a frame around the edges. Oh the turqoise cardstock is from Bazzil.

Hope your all having a good day...I'm off to sort out the kitchen, then the washing, then ....the list goes on. The rain is on today so should get lots done.
Seeeeee you soon
